The location was fabulous, with animals roaming around adding to the charm. We were particularly happy with the lodge manager, who facilitated an open feedback session where our request for the cleaning staff to relax their efforts while we are using the space was listened to and appreciated. She engaged with us in a way that made us feel she genuinely wanted to understand our concerns, all of which, with a little training, can be addressed for our future stays, which we are definitely planning on. For our trip to Kruger, it was very easy to get picked up, and in less than 30 minutes, we arrived at the Crocodile Bridge Gate, which is conveniently close to the lodge. While we had organized our own guide, the lodge manager, Sandra, who is extremely helpful and responsive, can also assist with this and any other queries.

The facilities are top of the range but what makes this place even more special is the location. You can watch the animals and birds come and go from the beautiful deck and BBQ area. I have never been so close to zebra, kudu, gnu and warthogs! There are even resident bush babies that come out at night.

We had a great time for the 3 nights that we spent at The Den at Kruger 3479. The main house was very well equipped with nice cutlery, crockery and glasses. Everything was immaculately clean. Sparkling swimming pool and outside area. The rooms were very comfortable with top quality linen. The solar power was much needed as we had stage 6 load shedding. We enjoyed the wild animals that came to visit. Very private and you aren't overlooked. Serviced daily by Nora who is friendly and discreet. A short walk down to the Crocodile River where you can see wildlife on the Kruger side.

What a wonderful place to stay - the house is gorgeous and clean and very tastefully decorated. We loved the fact that the bedrooms were separate from the house. [Host's first name] was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We will definitely be booking again. Photos do not do the place justice and we got a few visitors from the wild.

This was the perfect spot for a multi unit family getaway! Perfectly set up with everything that one could need, and that it was serviced daily was a massive bonus! Sandra and Nora were just too lovely and made sure that we had everything we needed at all times! We would highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Marloth Park.

The accommodation was everything we wished for. Sandra and Nora were outstanding and the Owner Kevin was extremely helpful and accommodating. It was one if the best experiences we have ever had. The house is very spacious and you have almost everything you might need for your stay. We also enjoyed having animals pass by to drink water and cool off right in front of us. We definitely got more than what we were expecting. Sandra and Nora were just amazing, friendly and eager to help with anything. I look forward to yet another stay. Sandra went out of her way to help us with activities for the weekend. Much appreciated.

A fantastic house with comfortable amenities.

Sandra and Nora were wonderful. They made our stay very comfortable and fun. Nora made sure we had a clean house and any extra assistance we needed. Then Sandra organised the game drive with Bheki, who was just as awesome. He was very friendly and professional. We enjoyed ourselves very much. What you see is exactly what you get and more!

We have received a warm welcome from Sandra and Nora on arrival and I want to thank them for the attention and special care given to us, we were well looked after. We spend many hours relaxing on the patio, deck and around the pool, with many animals coming so close to the lodge. We were impressed and cannot wait for the next visit to this special lodge.

5 Days of heaven!!! On arrival I could first not believe that I am so very blessed to stay in this beautiful lodge! Everything about this lodge was just unbelievable! So modern, so beautiful, so magical! Having sun-downers in the swimming pool ....without saying a single word just listening to the voice of the bush! I've been in lodges all over S-A and even a couple in Mauritius and let me tell you this lodge will see me again!! Thank you to Kevin and Sandra for your friendly assistance!

Our stay at The Den was nothing short of fantastic. From the beginning it was a pleasure dealing with Kevin regarding the booking and confirmations. In the week leading up to our departure i received regular communication/instructions and information. Beautiful modern house! It is very spacious and has a beautiful view! The bedrooms are in a separate building from the living area (kitchen/dinning/tv), which is very nice and private! Loved it! Sometimes the hot water in the shower can fluctuate a bit from hot to cold and back again. But it is really minor and not a big deal.

Amazing comfortable living spaces/ entertainment area, excellent quality furniture and finishes, exceptional value for money, very efficient management and helpful staff. Very easy access to Kruger Park, but animals come close to the house so literally game viewing is possible without leaving the house. Also easy walk/ drive down to peaceful viewing spots on the Crocodile River
