Our Lodge is tucked away in the most beautiful bushveld of southern Kruger National Park region. This region forms the backdrop to a spectacle of wild sounds, smells and sightings of wild animals. Located on the border of the Kruger National Park where you can see the ‘Big Five’ as well as a myriad of other flora and fauna, which is a short and easy drive away.
The Den Kruger is surrounded by a magical bushveld, where you have the unique privilege of living among birds and animals as they roam freely in the wild, and drink from our waterhole. You can sit and admire them up close. With the natural sounds and scents of the bush, guests are quickly transported to a surreal feeling far away from everyday routine and responsibilities. In this wonderful setting where zebra, giraffe, kudu, impala, blue wildebeest, bush buck and warthog welcome you. Bird watchers are treated to endemic birds of all sizes and an orchestra of bird calls.
After a day in the Kruger National Park guests can relax and enjoy the stunning sunset, while enjoying your favourite cocktail next to the pool, while the camp fire is already burning, while you can listen to the mighty roar of a lion in the distance or the crazy laugh of the hyena.

This Project focusses on the conservation of African wild dogs and their natural habitat. There are fewer than 6,000 painted wolves, or African wild dogs, left in the world today. You will recieve some of their beautifully crafted wines with your stay at The Den Kruger. To help achieve their goals we adopt the never-give-up attitude of a pack of painted wolves.
Painted Wolves Wines have 3 wine ranges available. The Den, The Pack & Lycaon Pictus. The Lycaon Pictus range is Named after the rare and beautiful painted wolf, this range of boutique wines includes our certified heritage Chenin Blanc as well as blends made from our favourite barrels of each vintage.
Thank you for a most relaxing stay at your beautiful lodge. The accommodation was luxurious, well serviced, very neat and clean. We have received a warm welcome from Sandra and Nora on arrival and I want to thank them for the attention and special care given to us, we were well looked after. We spend many hours relaxing on the patio, deck and around the pool, with many animals coming so close to the lodge. We were impressed and cannot wait for the next visit to this special lodge.

5 Days of heaven!!! On arrival I could first not believe that I am so very blessed to stay in this beautiful lodge! Everything about this lodge was just unbelievable! So modern, so beautiful, so magical! Having sun-downers in the swimming pool ....without saying a single word just listening to the voice of the bush! I've been in lodges all over S-A and even a couple in Mauritius and let me tell you this lodge will see me again!! Thank you to Kevin and Sandra for your friendly assistance!

Our stay at The Den was nothing short of fantastic. From the beginning it was a pleasure dealing with Kevin regarding the booking and confirmations. In the week leading up to our departure i received regular communication/instructions and information. The staff at the home were fantastic...thank you Sandra and Nora for making our stay hassle free and a truly relaxing weekend in nature. We were well impressed with the accommodation, amenities and overall the home is exactly what you see in the pictures.

Beautiful modern house! It is very spacious and has a beautiful view! The bedrooms are in a separate building from the living area (kitchen/dinning/tv), which is very nice and private! Loved it! Sometimes the hot water in the shower can fluctuate a bit from hot to cold and back again. But it is really minor and not a big deal.
Amazing comfortable living spaces/ entertainment area, excellent quality furniture and finishes, exceptional value for money, very efficient management and helpful staff. Very easy access to Kruger Park, but animals come close to the house so literally game viewing is possible without leaving the house. Also easy walk/ drive down to peaceful viewing spots on the Crocodile River
